Quiet, light-filled bedrooms where children rest, decompress, and feel safe through the night.
Across our three houses we have 72 beds — not bunks crammed into a unit, but real bedrooms with sage-green walls, herringbone floors, and tall wardrobes. Most rooms sleep two to four children, with their own dresser, their own closet, and their own quiet corner.
Sleep is part of the therapy. We protect it. Bedrooms stay tidy in the morning, lights go down at the same time each night, and a staff member is always nearby. For many of the kids who come to us, it is the first room they have ever felt safe to fall asleep in.
Nineteen frames from the bedrooms across our three houses — bunks, singles, dressers, wardrobes, and the small details that turn a room into a place to land.
New Era RTC South is a residential treatment home in Conroe, Texas for youth ages 8–17. If a child in your care needs a place to land, we are ready to talk.
