Every house opens to its own backyard — soft grass, a green privacy fence, and somewhere to be outside without being watched.
Each of our three houses has its own private backyard. Fenced for safety, planted with grass, and shaded enough that a kid can step outside on a Texas afternoon without baking.
A child’s healing doesn’t happen in a waiting room. Sometimes it happens in a quiet backyard — ten minutes alone after a hard group, a basketball bounce, a few laps around the perimeter. Small things. The kind of normal that gets taken away when life goes sideways.
The yards behind each house — private, fenced, and right outside the back door.
Sometimes the best therapy is a quiet ten minutes in the grass behind the house. We built the yards so that’s always within reach.
